Dan DeYoung
Dan DeYoung

Daniel DeYoung was born Sept. 25, 1949, at Josephine General Hospital in Grants Pass, Oregon. DeYoung graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1967 and served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972. He married in 1969, and he and his wife have two children and 6 grandchildren.

Having learned air conditioning and refrigeration in the Navy, DeYoung worked for a local heating and air conditioning company in Josephine County after his time in service. He started his own business, All Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning, in 1981, which he owned and managed until 2014.
 
DeYoung first held public office in 2009 when he was elected to the Grants Pass City Council, a position he held for six years, including two years as council president. He was elected to serve on the Josephine County Board of County Commissioners in 2016 and served as the board’s chairperson in 2018.
 
DeYoung’s hobbies include restoring classic cars.
