Engineering
The Engineering Workgroup is dedicated to the application of the highest professional standards achievable for all facets of design, construction, maintenance, and management of county owned facilities for the benefit of Josephine County citizens. Engineering provides the following services Professional expertise in the design and construction of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure within Josephine County Public Facility Master Planning and Construction services for roads, bridges, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants distribution systems, collection systems, and other County owned facilities.
Engineering Support Services to all County Departments; Professional Engineering review of projects submitted by local developers;surveying, record research, and deed and easement preparation by professionally licensed staff.
Professional Engineering, administrative review and approval of all work performed within the right of way by the public or by a private or public utility to ensure safety and protection of County assets Professional inspection services for all projects located within the County right of ways Management of infrastructure inventory and status of conditions.
Expertise in the management of solid waste and other environmental issues throughout Josephine County. Professional Management of property owned and leased by Josephine County; and Assistance in developing Local Improvement Districts for roads, water and wastewater.
