Shelters & Events

To make a reservation for your private party:
  • Step 1: Call the parks office to check date availability.
  • Step 2: Fill out the Picnic Shelter / Facility Application, available by clicking here.
  • Step 3: Return the completed application along with payment to parks.  Your application must be completed in its entirety, including your signature, and your payment must be made to park in full in order to reserve your Shelter or Facility.
    • You may return your application in person, or by fax or email.  If you fax or email your application, it is your responsibility to make your payment via phone and fill out the Credit Authorization Form.  If you choose to mail in your application with a check, please note that we can not actually reserve your application until it is received.
  • Remember: All shelters remain available for reservation by other parties until both your payment and application are received!
To book a shelter, open area, or entire park for your event which is either open to the public, or that are larger in size or require special permissions:
  • Step 1: Call the parks office to check date availability.
  • Step 2: Fill out the Special Event Application, available by clicking here.
  • Step 3: Return the completed application along with all required information, including a detailed site map/layout.
  • Step 4: Parks will contact you with any additional questions and calculate a price quote based on facilities needed.  A official contract will be drafted to officially reserve your location(s).  Payment will be due after your contract is signed, but before your event.

Reservation Information:
  • Reservations can be made up to 2 years in advanced.
  • Day use fees are required for all vehicle in County Parks.  Vehicles must either have an Annual Day Use Parking Pass, or pay $5 at the park.
  • Cleaning & Security Deposit: A $100 Cleaning & Security Deposit is required with each location reserved.  This fee may be paid at the time of your reservation, or you may fill out a Credit Card Authorization Form.  You are required to clean your shelter after use.  Your deposit will be returned within 30 days of your event, less any fees for cleaning or repairs.
  • Cancellation Policy: Reservations that are canceled will be refunded via check, minus a $25 cancellation fee per shelter/area.  Please note, check requests can take 2-3 weeks.  If you cancel your reservation less than 10 business days prior to your reservation, no refund will be given.  Parks is not responsible for weather and environmental conditions.
