Every person who lives or works in Josephine County shares responsibility for minimizing the impact of disaster on our community.

Josephine County Emergency Management program is responsible for coordinating activities related to county-wide planning, mitigation, response, and recovery from natural and man-made disasters. Emergency Management is responsible for coordinating revisions for all emergency operations plans, administering Homeland Security grants, and many other pre-event administrative activities. Emergency Management relies on close coordination with local and state agencies, and community partners for preparedness activities and when responding to disasters.
