Josephine County Adult Community Corrections Home Detention Program is a sentencing and sanctioning alternative which gives lower risk offenders the opportunity to serve their sentence in the community which allows them to continue employment, treatment and family support. Offenders who are screened as appropriate for this program are monitored electronically with an ankle bracelet or voice verification system, to insure they adhere to a strict schedule and are at their residence when not a work, school, treatment or other approved activities. This program is critical to providing sanctions for probation violations and court sentences as an alternative to jail. The cost of the Home Detention Program is $20.00 per day with a $100.00 minimum start-up fee, paid by the offender.
