** Josephine County Clerk's office is open by APPOINTMENT ONLY **
When visiting our office for your scheduled appointment time please follow mask requirements and social distancing guidelines currently in place by the CDC/OSHA. In a continued effort to prevent, slow, and stop the spread of COVID-19 to our citizens, our office is encouraging customers to utilize our services by phone, email and online services when available. If you are not sure how to access services online please call our office at 541-474-5240 or 541-474-5243 to discuss. Please keep in mind that response time may vary depending on staffing.

The Elections Division administers and conducts all Federal, State, County, City and Special District elections in Josephine County. The office advises voters, candidates, political action committees, political parties, cities, special districts and the public at large regarding administrative rules and statutes applicable to election law. The Election Division also manages and maintains the voter registration files for Josephine County.

 

Oregon Election Days

  • 2nd Tuesday in March
  • 3rd Tuesday in May
  • 3rd Tuesday in September
  • Tuesday following the 1st Monday in November
All elections in Oregon are conducted by mail. Your ballot will automatically be mailed to you 14 - 20 days prior to the election.
