An appeal of the Director’s Decision to approve a Conditional Use Permit for the placement of a Private Recreational Vehicle (RV) Campground in the Exclusive Farm (EF) zone. The proposed development includes 25 RV spaces with water and electric to sites and a centralized wastewater dump station for temporary overnight use.

Request for approval of a 40-lot Subdivision to be known as “Russell Road Estates”. This request will create 40 lots for residential development ranging in size from 2.12 acres to 5.19 acres and includes a proposed new public road “Ellison Loop” along with a short public road off the loop named Kinney Way to serve as access for the Subdivision.  The subject properties are located on Russell Road and Wildflower Drive, Map No. 35-06-09-00, TL 700, 1400 & 1401 and 35-06-16-B0, TL 100& 200 and are zoned Rural Residential (RR-2.5).

AMENDING THE JOSEPHINE COUNTY CODE (JCC), TITLE 19 – RURAL LAND DEVELOPMENT, TO UPDATE THE FARM & FOREST RESOURCE ZONES INCLUDING EXCLUSIVE FARM, FARM RESOURCE, FOREST COMMERCIAL, AND WOODLOT RESOURCE. THIS PROPOSAL INCLUDES “NON-DISCRETIONARY” CODE AMENDMENTS – TO REFLECT STATE STATUTES AND RULES WHERE THE COUNTY HAS NO AUTHORITY TO DEVIATE FROM PRESCRIBED PROVISIONS OF STATE LAW AND “DISCRETIONARY” AMENDMENTS – WHERE THE COUNTY WILL NEED TO DECIDE IF THE COUNTY CODE SHOULD ALLOW FOR VARIOUS USES PROVIDED FOR IN STATE LAW.

Request for approval of a 10-lot Planned Unit Development Subdivision to be known as “Creek Haven”. This request will create 10 lots for residential development ranging in size from 2.0 acres to 2.58 acres with a 6.16 acre tract of land for open space and includes a proposed new private road to serve as access for the PUD.  The subject property is located at 9300 Monument Drive, Map No. 35-06-03-00, TL 800 & 900 and is zoned Rural Residential (RR 2.5).

A request to subdivide Tax Lot (TL) 100 into 5 new lots for residential development off Starflower Way via Russell Road.  Starflower Way will be upgraded and extended into a Limited Residential Road.

Amending the Josephine County Code (JCC), Title 19 – Rural Land Development, to update the Farm & Forest Resource zones including Exclusive Farm, Farm Resource, Forest Commercial, and Woodlot Resource. This proposal includes “non-discretionary” code amendments – to reflect state statues and rules where the County has no authority to deviate from prescribed provisions of state law and “discretionary” amendments – where the County will need to decide if the County code should allow for various uses provided for in state law.

A request to authorize Grants Pass Balloon and Kite Festival 2019 to be held May 31st – June 2nd, 2019 at the River Road Reserve located at 3658 Upper River Road. Activities include hot-air balloon rides, kite shows, concerts and various family activities with food/beverage service and merchandise sales.
